Our FAB classes are designed for primary school aged gymnasts who may have additional needs, struggle in larger classes or have behaviours that may make learning more challenging. The sessions will run following the same structure as our hour recreational gymnastics classes. Each week we will be focusing on improving gymnasts co-ordination, strength, balance, fine and gross motor skills as well as individuals social skills. 

Throughout the term, gymnasts would work on Beam, Bars, Floor and Vault on an alternating basis week to week. We will also be working on gymnastics skills and technique that will allow the gymnasts to work towards badges.
We ask that parents remain on site at all times. If parents think that their child will benefit from them staying in the hall this can be accommodated. However, if this isn’t something that you want to do there is also a café on site that you may use.

These classes will run on a Saturday morning at Marjorie Waite Court. We will currently be offering two one hour sessions, one starting at 9:15 and the other 10:15. We will be running this for a term, at first, to see how successful these classes are. Each session will be £8.50 and will have a maximum capacity of eight so that our coaches can spend more time working with our gymnasts, developing their skills. Both of our coaches have previous experience working with individuals who have additional educational needs, both within a gymnastics environment and through other experience.

After joining the waiting list you will be sent link to a google questionnaire for you to fill in regarding your child’s needs and any additional support they may require. This allows us to assess if our classes would be suitable to provide your child an environment and class which would allow them to thrive. From here, you will be transferred to the class and will be sent an invoice. We are unable to offer trial sessions, so the full term will need to be paid for.
