Employed and Voluntary positions

We are always interested in hearing from coaches, helpers or anyone who has experience in gymnastics, trampolining, tumbling, cheerleading or Parkour.

We have classes running daytimes 10.00am-3.00pm, evenings from 3.30pm to 8.00pm and weekends 8.45am-1.00pm. We could run other times depending on coaches being available. Part time positions available for all levels of coaches.

Currently we have sites in York at Huntington School, Burnholme Sports Centre, Marjorie Waite Court, Vale of York, Energise York and Flip Out Trampoline Park

Please indicate, when applying, which sites you would prefer to work at. 

We are looking at new sites, all the time, around York and the surrounding areas. I am prepared to start a site where I am able to get coaches and a facility, so if you are aware of a need and think we could create a site, let me know.

All jobs advertised will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

All rates of pay are dependent on qualifications and experience.

Are you a qualified PE teacher looking for a change?

Over 16YO Gymnastics coaches £6.50-£15 per hour depending on experience, level of responsibility accepted when working and qualification/ability to teach.

Over 16YO Trampoline coaches £7-£15 per hour depending on experience, level of responsibility accepted when working and qualification/ability to teach.

Junior coaches, aged 13+, un/qualified, £3.50-£6.50 per hour based on age. All children will require a work permit from their local authority

Voluntary Junior Sports Helpers positions available for those who would like to earn valuable experience working with young children in a friendly envionment with a supportive team of coaches for a couple of hours a week.

Volunteers can be offered a 20 hour mentoring programme, and can begin gaining experience straight away, even if you have little or no experience. Volunteers would also get the opportunity to accept the offer of paid employment as vacancies and new sites open. Please complete a volunteer agreement application form below.

There are also a range of work experience opportunities for Sport Students, and we can offer Teacher Training places to students training to be school teachers.
