Emergency Procedures

Fire Procedure

Please do not obstruct a fire exit

If your child has entered the hall for their lesson then A.G.T.C staff are now responsible for them.

In the event of a fire Please DO NOT enter the hall to retrieve your children as staff will be evacuating them in their groups.

The staff and children's assembly point will be identified to children by the coaches. Once assembled a register will be taken. Parents should evacuate at the nearest fire exit and congregate with the children and coaches at the allocated area.

Accident Procedure

If an accident happens on site please contact the nearest member of staff.

First aid provisions are available on site and any accidents that take place in the club will be dealt with by qualified first aiders.

All accidents will be recorded and parents notified.

In the event that an ambulance is required a member of staff will contact the parent/ guardian as soon as possible. A member of staff will also accompany the child to hospital until the named person arrives.

Parents arriving Late.

Parents should ensure that they pick up their children at the finishing time of the class. In the event of not being able to get there on time, they must inform us that they will be late so that we can speak to the child and let them know. The numbers for this are:

Freddie 07513901672.

Children who have not been picked up must inform the staff and wait in the hall until someone arrives. Parents should speak to their children to let them know this is what should happen. Children must not to leave the building at any point and should remain with staff. If we have a child with a staff member after 5 minute then we will contact parents using the details on the system. (Please inform us of any changes to your contact details).
Children should be picked up from the class and arranging for children to meet in the car park should be avoided.
For older children, if they walk home unsupervised, they must inform the coaches, before they leave, that this is the arrangement.
